San Miguel, Mexico

San Miguel de Allende, often referred to simply as San Miguel, is a city in the Mexican municipality of the same name. The city is known for its colorful domes and iconic 17th century church, and is located around three and a half hours northwest of Mexico City. San Miguel is a popular tourist and wedding destination thanks to its impressive history, colonial architecture and overall natural beauty.

Our beautiful couple, Jose and Hayoung, traveled to San Miguel to celebrate their dream destination wedding in Mexico. For their venue, they chose Luna Escondida, a private luxury ranch just 15 minutes outside of downtown San Miguel de Allende. The venue is easily accessible yet tucked away, creating an exclusive and undisturbed environment for groups of up to 450 guests. Luna Escondida offers a combination of modern chic and rustic flair. The Conservatory, nestled next to the tropical Hummingbird Gardens, comes with marble floors, a beautiful glass dome and floor-to-ceiling windows. The light-flooded venue is the perfect spot for a daytime ceremony. It opens up to a lush, green, shaded outdoor walkway complete with a wooden pergola, where our Mr. and Mrs. walked down the aisle to exchange their vows. To complement the modern elegant ambiance, Luna Escondida’s horse stables and rustic Luna Salon lend a country-style touch. Here, luxury meets the ranch’s idyllic, traditional style with quarry stone walls and wooden interiors. The newlyweds came together with their loved ones for a celebratory reception, enjoying the romantic indoor and garden space.
